Who we are

The Ebm was founded in 1987 by Erich Büchele in his garage.
His aim was to offer low cost but high quality machines in the area of the axial reshaping, Ebm immediately filled a vacant niche in the market unforeseen at the time by other machine tool manufacturers worldwide.

On account of a very healthy order book Ebm soon had to substantially increase the workforce, leading to the proud opening of the first factory in 1988 in Herbertshofen. Moreover, the legal form of the company of a single enterprise changed to Ltd.

A subsidiary company Ebm America Inc was founded in 1993 after continuous growth and good contacts within USA, located in castle Spartan, South Carolina and very soon an exhaustive representative network had also been established.

Meanwhile Ebm employs more than 50 people and remains as a competent partner for tube forming systems on the American market as well as on the European market. We believe we present the highest technical know how and giving the best value.
Ebm consists of all departments of a classical mechanical engineering company, such as design, development, construction, mechanical manufacturing, final assembly and service.

We offer to our customers beside by hand and automatically serveable standard machines also the planning, construction, manufacturing, training and service of special machines by customer wish. Besides, all tools specific for machine are constructed and made by Ebm themselves.

With the cooperation with Schwarze-Robitec & Co. KG for pipe bending machines Ebm can offer more than only partial solutions, but also complete solutions up to fully automatic assembly lines.
